Maxime Baud

After moving from France to New York for my Masters, I immediately started working at DIAM as a Project Manager. Here, I learned how to design and manufacture point-of-sale (POS) displays for various luxury cosmetic clients. The position was resourceful and challenging, but having learned about eco-design rules and DIAM’s environmental trajectory, I passionately wanted to participate in that new evolution.

I then continued my journey at B2D alongside Sebastien Le Poder and Zach Bagdonas, and the rest is history! I feel very proud to offer my former clients a new side of the business and help them recycle end-of-life POS. Together, we can help reduce waste in our industry and discover environmentally responsible designs.

Outside of work, I love spending time in the mountains and enjoy road cycling and mountain biking. I regularly practice volleyball with friends in Brooklyn, so if you’re in the area, watch out for the “Flying Frenchies”!
